Puppy Class
Best practices for getting off to a good start!
Pay-as-you-go classes, attend one or several: Sunday afternoon, 4:15pm

$20 per class, Limit 5 Puppies
Creating positive experiences, socializing to people, other dogs, sights, sounds, and motion. This class is a foundation for teaching pet manners, to help your puppy develop into a well-mannered companion around town and in the veterinarian’s office.
The curriculum may cover:
- Name recognition
- Problem prevention
- Confinement (Crate) training
- Sit and Down foundation
- Recall: Come when called
- Wait or Hold position
- Leave It / Drop It
- Accept the leash and follow
- Best practices for rewarding your dog
- Accept handling for grooming or at the vet’s office
- Learning to interact with other dogs
- Learning to focus on YOU in the presence of distractions and other dogs.
This class is open to Puppies 8 weeks to 16 weeks of age.
Proof of one set of DHLPP vaccination one week prior to first class is required.
All pet-friendly training. Use of science-based instruction.
Limited to 5 dog/handler teams for each class. Lots of personal attention from a certified professional dog training instructor.
